At Heap we believe that it’s important to keep reiterating the “why” for any initiative — what problem are we aiming to solve? Why is that problem important? Whom are we solving that problem for?

So, we’ve put together three worksheets to help you implement a repeatable process for getting to the why.

The Problem Brief is for getting a handle on the problem you’re trying to solve. The Design Brief is for aligning on the solution. More formally: the goal of a Design Brief is to describe, holistically and at a high level, your proposed design solution(s) for a given project.
