This week, we’re excited to announce that the Heap + Appcues integration is now generally available to all customers!

Real-time data from Appcues flows into Heap where it is readily available for analysis. With this, you can fully understand the effectiveness of Appcues-created product experiences, such as product guides, walk-throughs, tool tips, and more.
Behavioral cohorts from Heap can also be exported directly to Appcues for targeted engagement and activation. More specifically, Heap’s retroactive product data set can create segments of users based on the behaviors they show within your product. This information can be used to improve and deliver personalized in-app experiences through Appcues.
Now for the most important question: What does this new integration mean for customers? Here are three benefits customers can expect.
- Accelerated onboarding. Successful onboarding is critical to retention. Without it, the chances of developing long-term, high-value customers drop significantly. Heap makes it easy to pinpoint precisely where users drop out of the onboarding flow. The Heap + Appcues integration makes it easy to get them back on track. If a user doesn’t complete all of the necessary onboarding steps, you can quickly create a segment in Heap, send it to Appcues, and then generate a modal pop-up that targets users to pick up where they left off. Then, analyze the success of your pop-up in Heap so you know whether the experience drove the desired behavior.
- Nurtured product adoption. As a product manager, you know your product’s features inside and out. But what about your users? Are you sure that they know about your new updates? Are you sure that they’re familiar with your advanced features? Here’s your opportunity to nudge users in the right direction with targeted tool tips that showcase recent releases, or hotspots that highlight unused features.
